The latest issue of Kjarafréttir – the Efling economic analysis – is out. It deals with the unacceptable situation of renters.
It has been seen as desireable that rent should not cost more than 25% of disposable income. This proportion, however, is on average around 45% and more than 70% for large groups of renters.
This unsustainable situation is analyzed in issue no. 6 of Kjarafréttir.
