Education and membership affairs
Education and membership affairs include the following tasks:
- Educational events and courses, most often at no cost to members.
- The system of union reps (in coordination with labor rights).
- Membership affairs of the union, such as meetings of the Delegate Council (trúnaðarráð) and other membership events.
- The organizing of negotiations committees during collective bargaining.

Every year, Efling offers a wealth of educational events and vibrant membership activities.
Union representatives
Efling is focused on raising the number of union representatives and offering them training in the field of wage affairs and social issues.
Professional groups
At Efling there are professional groups with particular profession.
The Delegate Council
The Delegate Council (trúnaðarráð) is the highest authority of the union and includes 115 members plus the board.
Negotiations Committee
The negotiations committee handles the collective bargaining on behalf of Efling members.
