Teaching at Preschool Assistance Bridge starts on August 21 at Mímir. Efling members who work in preschools and want to improve their careers are strongly encouraged to apply. Those who complete the program graduate as Preschool assistants.
The Preschool Assistant Bridge is intended for those with at least three years of work experience and who have attended between 140 and 170 hours of work-related courses. High school credits are assessed if the courses behind them are the same or similar to those taught in the kindergarten bridge. The program is also creditable as a high school course, with 61 high school credits taught over four semesters. The course will start next August 21. More information can be found here.
Efling’s vocational funds pay the course fee in full for those members who work for public sector employers. The program is applied for through the Mímir website and the Mímir staff answers questions about the application process.
