This morning, the bargaining committee of Efling Union signed a new collective agreement with the Federation of Independent Schools. The agreement, if approved by the members of Efling to which it applies, applies retroactively from last April 1.
The agreement is similar to the collective bargaining agreement that Efling has already agreed with the City of Reykjavík.
Voting has started and you can access a direct link to the voting here. Electronic identification must be used to vote. Voting closes at noon next Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
The new collective agreement can be found below. Efling members working at the schools that belong to the Association of Independent Schools and therefore work according to the agreement are encouraged to study it and participate in the voting.
