The collective bargaining agreement between Efling Union and the Association of Local Authorities was approved by an overwhelming majority in a vote that ended yesterday. The agreement is retroactively valid from April 1 until March 31, 2028.
A total of 85% of those who voted approved the agreement. Close to 10% were against it, while over 5% did not take a stand.
The collective agreement, which was signed last October 29, applies to Efling’s members who work at Kópavogsbær, Seltjarnarnesbær, Mosfellsbær, Ölfus and Hveragerðisbæ. The agreement in question is similar to the collective agreements that Efling has already accepted on the public market.
