ASÍ and BSRB have organized a meeting with the chairmen of the political movements that are running for the parliamentary elections on November 30. The meeting will be held at Hotel Hilton Reykjavík Nordica next Monday, November 18, between 17:00 and 19:00.
All the chairmen of the parties running at the national level have confirmed their attendance at the meeting, which is entitled Community at the Crossroads. There, the candidates will sit for answers about policy concerning workers in Iceland.
The following main themes will be the red thread of the discussions:
- Household income
- The welfare system and social infrastructure
- Equal opportunities and possibilities
The panel will be chaired by Finnbjörn A. Hermannsson, president of ASÍ, and Sonja Ýr Þorbergsdóttir, chairman of BSRB. The meeting is open to everyone and light refreshments will be served. The meeting will also be streamed for those who cannot attend.
