Efling union hosted a grand Christmas buffet for Efling members who are active in the membership work of the union.
The Christmas buffet of Efling’s active members was held on Thursday, December 12 in the festive atmosphere at Hotel Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut.
There we enjoyed the evening together in the company of fellow workers, celebrated the victories we have achieved, and strengthened the bonds for the coming struggles.
Active members could bring one guest who was also a member of Efling union. The purpose of this was to draw the attention of other Efling members to the internal work of the union and encourage them to participate more in it.
The evening began with a board of trustees meeting where a new board of trustees was elected. Afterwards, guests enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner and washed it down with Icelandic Christmas ale. Rebekka Magnúsdóttir kept the fun going with a bingo, so some guests left with hands full of prizes, which were surely a welcome treat for Christmas.
