On January 1st, the wages of Efling members working in the private sector (SA), in hotels, restaurants and cleaning increased according to relevant collective agreements. The wage increase is to be paid on February 1st. Members of Efling are advised to carefully review their pay slips to ensure the wage increases are included. If there are any problems, it is important to notify the employer immediately and request immediate correction. Efling employees are prepared to assist members if necessary in this regard.
Employees in the private sector (SA)
Fixed monthly wages for daytime work shall increase by 3.5%, but never less than ISK 23,750, unless other is mentioned in the wage tables included in the collective agreement.
Wage-related parts in the collective agreement will increase by 3.5%, unless otherwise agreed.
Hotel and restaurant employees
Fixed monthly salaries for daytime work shall increase by 3.5%, or a minimum of ISK 24,026 (wage category 6, starting salary).
Wage-related items in the collective agreements shall increase by 3.5%, unless otherwise was agreed.
Wage increases for cleaners
Fixed monthly salaries for daytime work shall increase by 3.5%, or a minimum of ISK 24,306 (wage category 8, starting salary).
