Agnieszka Górka is the winner of Efling Union’s 2025 Photography Contest.
This year marked an all-time high in photo submissions, showing that the competition has truly established itself, now held for the third time this summer. The judges of the competition faced a challenging task in selecting from the many stunning photos submitted, holding multiple meetings to carefully review each entry.
The quality and variety of the submitted photos reflect the clear creativity and keen eye of Efling members, making the competition a unique platform for artistic expression and for sharing beautiful moments of summer. The judges hope the contest will continue to be a source of inspiration, encouraging members to further explore photography and travel within Iceland.
The judges of the competition were Sólveig Anna Jónsdóttir, Chairman of Efling, along with Magdalena Kwiatkowska and Ragnheiður Hera Gísladóttir, staff members of the union.
Prizes awarded to the winning photos:
- 1st place: ISK 50,000 cash prize
- 2nd place: ISK 25,000 cash prize
- 3rd place: ISK 25,000 cash prize
