The Efling Nomination Committee is calling for nominations to serve on the Efling Board.
There are eight vacant seats on the board, specifically the positions of Chair, Treasurer, and six board members. These board members will take their seats at the Annual General Meeting in the spring of 2026 and will serve for a two-year term. The remaining current board members, seven in total, are serving a term from 2025 to 2027.
The Nomination Committee reviews the nominations received and submits a proposed list to the Council of Representatives. If no other list is submitted, the list of the Nomination Committee will be elected unopposed. Further information about the work and role of the board can be found in Articles 10 to 14 of the Efling bylaws. The election of the board is addressed in Article 19 of the bylaws (“General Ballot”). All fully accredited Efling members are eligible for election to the board. Members can check on “My Pages” whether they are fully accredited. If a member believes they have been incorrectly registered as not fully accredited, they can send a message to felagsmal@efling.is.
