Efling is hosting a special film screening for its members on Tuesday, November 25, at Bíó Paradís. The award-winning Spanish comedy El buen patrón (Icelandic: Góði stjórnandinn, English: The Good Boss) will be shown. The film tells the story of a factory owner facing growing challenges just as a jury prepares to award his company for its business achievements. Conflicts, pressure, and unexpected events, however, throw everything into chaos.
The Good Boss was Spain’s submission for the 2022 Academy Awards and received 20 nominations at the Goya Awards, winning six, including Best Film of the Year. Javier Bardem stars in the lead role, and the film was named Best Comedy of the Year at the 2022 European Film Awards.
