There was a great atmosphere at Efling’s movie night in Bíó Paradís on 25 November when Efling members flocked to the Spanish comedy El buen patrón, or The Good Boss.
Laughter could be heard throughout the screening. The film follows the owner of a factory who is experiencing considerable difficulties. At the same time, the company is set to receive an award for excellence in management, but unexpected events throw everything into chaos.
El buen patrón was Spain’s submission to the Oscars in 2022 and received 20 nominations at the Goya Awards. The film won six awards, including Best Film of the Year. Javier Bardem plays the lead role, and the film was chosen as Best Comedy of the Year at the European Film Awards in 2022.
