The People of Efling, folkid.efling.is, has been nominated to the Icelandic Web Awards.The project, created by journalist and photographer Alda Lóa Leifsdóttir, introduces members of Efling through text and images, promoting the importance of the people standing by the machines, the people waiting tables, cleaning floors, and those caring for children, the sick and the elderly.The annual Web Industry Celebration is held by SVEF Friday the 22nd of February at Hilton Reykjavík Nordica.Svef has the goal of communicating knowledge within the web industry and serves breakfast and lunch meetings, as parties from the web sector discuss various issues. Also, a rather informal SVEF evening is held to meet and strengthen the network. SVEF is hosting the IceWeb conference and the Icelandic web prizes.Follow The People of Efling on Facebook
