Kolbeinn Stefánsson, PhD in sociology, will present a report he is working on for Efling Union about the relation of disability and health of Icelanders to their position in the labor market and their class position. Kolbeinn recently completed a report on the development of the number of individuals on disability benefits for The Icelandic Disability Alliance. His report for Efling is a continuation of this report, now looking specifically at disability issues from the viewpoint of low wage workers. While the report will be presented publicly at a later stage, the meeting gives an opportunity to Efling members to get a preview of the main results.Facebook event
