Members employed at Reykjavík city need to apply especially for payments from strike fund for the strike days February 17-21. Former application was only valid for the period February 4.-14. You can apply online at Efling´s webpage from Friday, February 21. In order to get paid at the end of the month you need to apply before February 25.If the strike continues members need to apply again. Those who have not applied for the period February 4-14 when new application takes effect on February 21 need to contact Efling´s office since it will no longer be possible to apply electronically for that period (Feb.4-14).Payments for those who suffer wage loss during these strike days: February 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, will be 18.000 kr. per day will be 18,000 kr. per day for a full-time work, otherwise paid according to the employment proportion, e.g. are paid ISK 9,000 per day for a 50% work.
