In our next Drop-Inn on February 18 at 10 am Drífa Jónsdóttir from the women’s shelter will talk about domestic violence and the shelter’s work. She’ll go through what domestic violence against women and children is and what you can do to stop it. Drífa will talk about different manifestations of domestic violence, where those who suffer it can go, and what services are on offer at the shelter. The presentation will be streamed live on the Efling Facebook page and the recording will be available there afterwards. The Drop-Inn will be in English with Icelandic subtitles.Drop-Inn is a weekly educational lecture for Efling members and those interested. They are organized for the unemployed and others who are available at 10am on Thursdays. Due to the current circumstances, the events will only be available online until the Efling office reopens.
