Now the international workers’ day on May 1 draws near!
Efling – union encourages all members to join the demonstration from Skólavörðuholt to the rally on Ingólfstorg. The union will as usually invite everyone to coffee and cakes in Valsheimilið afterwards.
Location and time:
- Everyone gathers for the demonstration on Skólavörðuholt at 1pm.
- The march starts at 1:30pm.
- The march goes from Skólavörðuholt, through Skólavörðustígur, Bankastræti and Austurstræti to Ingólfstorg square where there will be a rally with speeches and entertainment.
Efling members are welcome to come for coffee at the home ground of Valur Football club, Hlíðarendi, after the program ends at Ingólfstorg. The brass band of the working class will play a few songs, coffee and pastries will be on offer, the ice cream truck stops by and children can have their faces painted.
The office of Efling will be closed the whole day.
