Efling held a meeting in Polish yesterday on rights and obligations in the labour market. The meeting was well attended.
Wieslawa Vera Lupinska, a case officer at Efling, talked about the headline items of the collective agreement, such as sickness rights, terms of notice etc. She also informed attendees of their claims to the union’s funds.
The meeting is a part of the union’s aim of providing members of foreign origin with information on their rights in the labour market and in the union. The need for such meetings was reflected in the large number of guests, and the union will provide more of them in the future. Next week a similar meeting will be held in English. You’ll find more information on that meeting here.
