The Red Cross now offers assistance in Polish via its personal assistance hotline 1717 and the internet chat 1717.is.The service will be available on Thursdays from 8pm to 11pm.A group of Polish-speaking volunteers has joined the project and gotten the requisite training to answer calls and chats. The aim is to reach Polish-speaking individuals living in Iceland and to offer support and active listening.The hotline is free (you do not need credit to call) and is always anonymous and confidential.
