Efling union signed a collective agreement with the state last night, May 30. As in other collective agreements that have been concluded, the focus is primarily on negotiating higher wages. In this contract, you can see a table with the entire wage increase. An increase in the monthly salary in the salary table is from ISK 40,000 to around ISK 47,000. The increase in the monthly salary will be proportionally increased in overtime and shift load, correspondingly.
The collective agreement will be put to a vote, which will be published on Efling’s website shortly.
