A new negotiation meeting between the Union Alliance and the Confederation of Employers will be held at 9:00 o’clock today with the state mediator. The negotiation committees of both parties sat in a meeting all day yesterday. Nothing can be disclosed about the status of the dispute at this point. Collective agreements lapsed at the end of last month.
Yesterday, the mediator imposed a media ban on both negotiation committees. For that reason, it is not possible to disclose what took place at the meeting or whether there has been any progress in the dispute.
The board of Efling will meet today to discuss and review the situation in the negotiations. The bargaining committee of the union has been called to a meeting on Monday to do the same. Efling will continue and try to keep its members informed as much as possible about the progress of the negotiations.
