Efling Union holds an introductory meeting for the negotiation committees of the public labor market and opens the way for new nominations of members to sit on the committees. These are negotiation committees for collective bargaining agreements with the following parties:
- City of Reykjavík
- Association of Icelandic municipalities (Kópavogsbær, Seltjarnarnesbær, Ölfus, Hveragerðisbær, Mosfellsbær)
- The state (Landspítali and others)
- Association of companies in welfare services (nursing homes and related activities)
- The Association of Independent Schools
The introductory meeting will be held on Monday, March 25 at 18:00 in Efling’s Community Center (Félagsheimiil Eflingar), 4th floor in Guðrúnartún 1. The house opens at 17:30 and refreshments and drinks will be offered. Text interpretation on screen between English and Icelandic will be available.
