The Fishing Card for 2022 is now available and, as in the last few years, Efling’s members can get it for only ISK 6,000. The full price is ISK 9,900.
The card can be purchased in Efling’s offices. If you wish to receive the card by mail to a home-address, send a request by e-mail to orlof@efling.is
The Fishing Card offers good value for fishing enthusiasts as well as families. With the Fishing Card, you can fish in 36 lakes around the country, almost without limits, and you can camp around many of them without charge. Children under the age of 14, accompanying the card holder, can fish for free.
This allows you to go camping by beautiful lakes, for shorter or longer periods, without spending time on figuring out where to buy fishing licences, whether there is fish in the lake, etc.
When you buy the Fishing Card, 5 points are deducted from your points.
The card comes with an informative brochure, containing descriptions of the fishing areas, rules, maps and photos.

The right to grants/refunds from the Recreational Fund is based on the following:
• Contributions must have been paid to the fund for the previous six consecutive months and members must have enough points.
• Members who receive pension or disability pension can purchase vouchers for two years after retirement (as with rights to other funds) or have enough points.
