Efling invites it´s members to buy the Fishing Card for the year 2024 for only 6,000 ISK, while the full price of the card is 9,900 ISK. Each member is invited to buy 1 Fishing Card per year from the union. 5 points are deducted from the member’s points balance when purchasing the card.
The Fishing Card offers good value for fishing enthusiasts as well as families. With the Fishing Card, you can fish in 36 lakes around the country, almost without limits, and you can camp around many of them without charge. Children under the age of 14, accompanying the card holder, can fish for free.
The card comes with an informative brochure, containing descriptions of the fishing areas, rules, maps and photos. The brochure also has information in English, see www.veidikortid.is
The card can be purchased at Efling’s office at Guðrúnartún 1. Since the postal office is very busy at this time of year it will not be possible to buy the card online and have it delivered before Christmas.
